Meeting Minutes

The July 8th, 2025 meeting was called to order at 7pm. 3 building permits were approved. There was a discussion about the permitting requirements for pole sheds, the boards decision was to have the building inspector determine what is required. Dust control will be applied in July. Crack sealing was approved for Albatross Circle, Alverno off 260th, and the town hall parking lot. Rocky Hills park was discussed and letters will be sent out to the Rocky Hills residents asking for their input. The final approval was granted for the Xcel Energy project along 230th Street. The township is accepting applications for an Office Assistant. Norb Kuhn was selected as vice chair. Weed control in the township was discussed, further research will be done on this issue. The board has agreed to a presentation from Corri & Rupp on the process for becoming a city, a date has not been set. The board approved Otte Excavating's contract for 1 year with an option to approve for a second year. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 11PM.
