Meeting Minutes

The June 10th, 2025 meeting was called to order at 7pm. The township attorney joined the meeting remotely to assist in the appointment of a new board member due to a board member resigning. The attorney advised the board and residents in attendance to the statue and legal requirements.  Questions were also asked and answered by the attorney. BJ Elvestad was selected to serve on the board until the next election. Reminder, in the next election there will be two open seats. Six building permits were approved. Gravel quotes were approved. Minnesota Dirt was awarded a contract to install culvert pipes on 250th Street and will be unable to fulfill the contract so the board voted to award the contract to Otte Excavating. With input from the road committee the board approved road improvement projects for Denmark, Biscayne, and 225th Street east of Biscayne. The board passed a resolution to approved the County to regulate the sale of Cannabis in the township. New quotes are being requested for the crack sealing of paved roads in the township. This will delay this project until August. Work on the policy manual was tabled until July. The board is working on the process to hire an office assistant.  The meeting was adjourned at approximately 10pm.
