Block Club Meetings
In an effort to provide more community outreach for our
cities and townships, the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is
implementing “block club meetings” to be held monthly at a
designated location. Residents will be able to interact with our
Deputies to discuss any concerns they’re having in our community
or become more familiar with our department and staff. In
addition, an informational topic will be discussed. Some topics
may include hunting and snowmobile rules/regulations, car seat
safety, safe driving and teen driving rules/regulations, basic
first aid, narcotics, or discuss and demonstrate our canine
program. We’re hoping this program will be beneficial to the
residents of Dakota County. I would like this information to get
out to our residents so please feel free to post this
information at your City Halls and Township Buildings or in your
newsletters. If anybody has questions, comments, topic
suggestions, or specific dates, please feel free to contact me
at james.gabriel@co.dakota.mn.us or (651) 438-4760. Thank You.
